⁃ The month of Ramadhan is a time to reform ourselves individually and communally.
⁃ The month of Ramadhan gives us an opportunity to feel the pain of others and to be concerned of the less fortunate in the society.
⁃ Narration of a hadith of the Prophet on the reward of giving iftaar to a fasting mo'meen even if it is just a date or a glass of water.
⁃ Appreciating the hardwork of all the volunteers.
⁃ Zakat ul Fitr made "ehtiyaat e wujoobi" that it should not be used for buildings but should be used for needy people.
⁃ Explanation of Aayat 14 and 15 of Surah Aala, the surah that is recited in eid salaat.
⁃ This surah is one place where Zakat is mentioned first then Salaat.
⁃ Narration of a hadith of the 6th Imam which is a conversation between the Imam and Mufazzal about fulfilling a believers needs and its recompense.
⁃ Imam is emphasizing the importance of being the best member of the shia community by actively seeking to help others.
⁃ Importance of not only having the best manners for the community but also for the ones who are near and dear to us.
⁃ Prophet Muhammad(s)'s advice to the believers that if they cannot do anything positive, at least they should not harm others.
⁃ Narrating the conversation between Habil and Qabil found in Surah Maida.
⁃ Learning to restrain yourself and not to take the place of the oppressor.
⁃ Quoting a hadith of the prophet where he says a Muslim is one from whom others a secure from his hands and tongue.
⁃ The Quran and Hadiths emphasize not hurting people yet the Taliban and ISIS do the opposite by killing fasting Muslims in the month of Ramadhan.
⁃ Example of the recent bombing killing Muslims in Karbala, Baghdad, Qatif and Madina and killing non-Muslims in Bangladesh and the USA.
⁃ The blast in Medina shows that no city is secure any longer and no place is sacred anymore to terrorists.
⁃ Imam Hussein(a) had to change his hajj to Umrah to preserve to sanctuary of the Kaaba, after his life was under threat, showing the importance of those grounds.
